'Carter Gables' Knit Socks Adult sizes

US$6.00

I love cables and I like finding ways to use garter in a way that’s fun and not boring. With these socks, I combined a few textures without making things too busy. As for the name, ‘Cables and Garter’ was a bit boring but with a little letter rearranging we get ‘Carter Gables’. Distinguished, right? Like a handsome film star with practical features like 4 widths, a unique tab toe, and the ‘range’ to suit any yarn color whether striped, speckled, or color blocked.

Details: This sock is knit toe up. The cable pattern is only worked on the front of the foot and leg, on the back is a bold but simple garter section on the back of the leg, the rest is stockinette. The after thought heel is worked without a heel flap once the rest of the sock is complete.

Sizes: 7.5 (8, 8.5, 9)“ foot circumference

Yarn: Plied fingering weight
Sample: Knitted Wit in color: Thistle.

Needle: Size 1/2.25mm DPNs or 1 long circular.

This pattern is for PERSONAL USE ONLY. Thank you
